Romin Thomson has been representing businesses in the Silicon Valley since 1997. He regularly assists clients with capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities law issues, intellectual property issues, and general corporate matters.  

Romin enjoys working with businesses in a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining SMWB, Romin was an associate attorney with HiTech Law, LLP and Silicon Valley Law Group. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, a board member of the Construction Financial Management Association and a member of the California Society of CPA's, Attorneys Bankers and CPA's Committee. Romin was featured in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal as one of the Silicon Valley’s “40 Under 40” rising stars in 2008.

Romin obtained his law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1997. While in law school, Romin co-authored "Rage Against the Veil" a biography of a human rights activist in the Nation of Iran, which has been published in three languages. Prometheus Books, Amherst, New York 1997.

Romin enjoys tennis, fishing and is an avid snow skier. Romin lives in Belmont with his wife and twin children.
