Dana R. Corey (Associate)
Dana Corey has extensive experience representing various corporate
and individual clients throughout all aspects of the litigation
process. Since beginning the practice of law in 1989,
Dana has litigated numerous construction disputes in the
State and Federal Courts as well as before the American
Arbitration Association. Dana has also been employed
as in-house counsel for a major fence wholesaler and as
vice-president for a nation-wide surety company, where
he was lead counsel for the subrogation division. Prior
to joining SMWB in 2006, Dana was a partner at a long
standing construction litigation firm in Southern California.
Dana
graduated in 1984 from San Jose State University
where he majored in Administration of Justice. Dana
played Intercollegiate Baseball at San Jose State University
and was selected to the Academic All-American Team in
1983. He received his J.D. from Santa
Clara University School of Law in 1988. Dana is a member
of the California State Bar Association and is admitted
to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Central,
Southern, and Northern Districts of California.
Dana lives in Los Gatos with his wife
and their four children.
