Bradley D. Bosomworth (Shareholder)
Brad Bosomworth earned his J.D., Magna Cum Laude,
from Santa Clara University in 1987 after graduating from
the University of Oregon in 1984 with a BS in Marketing.
Brad works
exclusively with individuals and privately held businesses. As
Outside General Counsel, he provides cradle to grave legal services to businesses
in a wide variety of industries. Brad advises Boards of Directors, is involved
in entity formation and structure, maintenance and dissolution, financing transactions,
ownership agreements, intellectual property protection and all manner of commercial
agreements and transactions. Brad has substantial experience with critical legal
issues involving trade secret and customer list protection, non-competition issues,
related employee obligations and sales representative relationships.
Brad
is heavily involved in mergers and acquisitions wherein
he represents both buyers and sellers, and has participated
in over 100 transactions including simple "main street"
acquisitions and complex mid-market transactions up to
$35,000,000.
Brad also has extensive experience in commercial
litigation which enables him to effectively deal with
commercial and business relationship disputes and provide
critical perspective for appropriately advising clients
in transactions foreseeing issues that can lead to disputes,
and in resolving disputes in an economically beneficial
manner.
Brad has held leadership positions in numerous community
groups including Chairman, Almaden Youth Association;
Board Member, San Jose Midtown Specific Plan Task Force;
President, Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce; Member, San
Jose Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee; Board
Member, Guadalupe Gardens Board; and President, Shasta-Hanchett
Neighborhood Association. Brad served as a Director of
the Almaden Valley Youth Soccer League and coached soccer for 10 years.
Brad and his wife live in Almaden Valley with their two
sons.
