Matthew J. Wendt is an associate attorney with Sweeney, Mason, Wilson & Bosomworth. He represents and advises clients in various practice areas including real estate transactions and litigation, construction law and defect litigation, employment law litigation, and business disputes.

Matt received his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Katherine Lucero of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara. Matt received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego.

Matt serves as a Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Commission for the City of Morgan Hill. He was appointed to the General Plan Advisory Committee, which provided guidance on development, land use, growth and economic development for the Morgan Hill 2035 Project. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Morgan Hill Community Foundation. He was a member of Leadership Morgan Hill, Class of 2013.

Matt lives in Morgan Hill with his wife Marilyn and two sons.
